A Microsoft 365 licence includes Power Apps and Power Automate for standard connectors and Dataverse for Teams. It does not include premium, on-premises or custom connectors, the data gateway, or Dataverse proper. Those need a standalone licence. The same line sets throughput: a seeded flow gets 6,000 Power Platform requests a day, a premium user gets 40,000. That gap is the real reason flows stop working for no apparent reason.

The two or three processes with a real hour count behind them, built in solutions with pipelines, so the same thing deploys the same way twice.

Documented solutions, a named owner, a maker community that knows where the premium line sits, and support behind it.

AI Builder credits stop on 1 November 2026
Microsoft is retiring AI Builder credits in favour of Copilot Credits. On 1 November 2026 the seeded AI Builder credits are removed from premium licences, including Power Apps Premium, Power Automate Premium and Dynamics 365, for every customer including Enterprise Agreement. There is no automatic conversion, and the features keep working but draw on Copilot Credits you have to buy. If you run form processing or prediction models today, you need a credit position before that date.
