AI-Infused Business Applications

The systems your business runs on, built to work with AI.

Finance, supply chain, customer and project operations still run on business applications, and most of the value AI can add to them depends on how those platforms are designed, configured and governed. AIM implements, optimizes, extends and supports enterprise resource planning and customer platforms on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP S/4HANA, then stays accountable for running them.

The executive problem

Your ERP was sold as the system of record. It became the system of workarounds.

Most organizations did not fail to implement their business applications. They implemented them, went live, and then watched the business route around them. Month-end close still depends on spreadsheets outside the ledger. Customer history lives in three places. Project margins are known after the project ends. Every upgrade is deferred because nobody is sure what the customizations will break.

AI makes that gap more expensive, not less. Copilots and agents are only as good as the process and data underneath them. An agent reading a ledger full of manual journals or a customer record duplicated across systems produces confident answers to the wrong question. The organizations getting value from AI in finance and operations are the ones whose core platforms were already clean, integrated and governed.

And the platform decisions are arriving on a clock. SAP customers on ECC face the end of mainstream maintenance. Dynamics customers on older on-premises products face their own support dates. Both groups are being asked to fund a major program at the same time the board is asking what the AI plan is. Those should be one conversation.

What AIM does

Implement. Optimize. Extend. Support.

Four kinds of work, one accountable team. Most clients arrive needing one of them and stay for the other three.

1

Implement

New ERP and customer platforms, and new modules on existing ones, designed around standard processes and delivered to go-live. Fit-to-standard design, data migration, integration, testing, training and cutover, with the business case defined before the build starts.

2

Optimize

Platforms already live, made to deliver what the business case said they would. Process and configuration review, customization rationalization, security and role clean-up, reporting that the business trusts, and adoption of capability you already license and do not use.

Build
3

Extend

Capability added without compromising the upgrade path. Copilots and agents, integration with the rest of the estate, business data into Microsoft Fabric, industry processes, and custom applications on Power Platform where the standard product stops.

Build
4

Support

The platform run after go-live under a service agreement. Functional and technical support, release and update management, environment administration, licence optimization, and a continuous improvement backlog that someone actually owns.

Where the AI is infused

AI in the platform, in the data, and in how we deliver.

"AI-infused" means three specific things at AIM, and we are careful not to claim more than these.

In the platform

Copilot and agents working inside the applications your people already use: drafting collections emails, summarizing customer cases, preparing variance commentary, answering questions about orders and stock. Configured to your processes, governed by your security model, and adopted rather than switched on.

In the data

Business application data brought into Microsoft Fabric alongside the rest of the estate, so AI and analytics work across finance, operations and customer data together instead of inside one application at a time. This is how AIM brings AI to SAP S/4HANA environments as well as Dynamics 365.

In the delivery

On Dynamics 365 programs, AIM applies AI to the drafting work that consumes most implementation hours: requirements, design documents, configuration records, test cases and training material. Every decision, approval and sign-off stays with a named person.

On your platform

Two platforms. One way of working.

AIM works on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP S/4HANA. We do not ask you to change platforms to work with us, and where a client runs both, which is common after an acquisition or in groups with a separate operating company, we treat the integration between them as part of the job rather than someone else's problem.

Microsoft

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Implementation, optimization, extension and support across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Customer Insights, with Power Platform for custom applications and automation, Copilot and agents for AI, and Microsoft Fabric for analytics. Licensed through AIM as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider where that suits the client.

We are implementing our own platform the way we would implement yours.

AIM is delivering a full Dynamics 365 implementation for its own operations, covering Finance, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Insights and a custom customer licensing portal, using the same AI-accelerated delivery method we apply to client programs. The decisions we ask clients to make, we are making ourselves.

Is this you?

Signs the platform is working against the business.

  • Month-end close depends on spreadsheets that live outside the ERP
  • You are on SAP ECC or an older Dynamics product and the support date is now inside your planning horizon
  • Your platform went live and the business case never arrived
  • Customizations have made every upgrade a project nobody wants to fund
  • You pay for Copilot or ERP capability that nobody uses
  • Customer, order and invoice data disagree across systems
  • The board wants an AI plan and your core platforms are not ready to support one
  • Your implementation partner left at go-live and support is a ticket queue
How it starts

A low-risk first step.

A 60-minute Executive Value Working Session with the executive carrying the cost of the current state, usually the CFO, COO or head of operations, and the owner of the platform. We will come out of it with the one or two business outcomes worth funding and a view on whether you need to implement, optimize, extend or simply support what you have.

On Dynamics 365, the next step is usually a Dynamics 365 Discovery Workshop, which scopes the program and produces the business case. On SAP, the next step is a scoped assessment of your S/4HANA position and your SAP data. In both cases you get a roadmap built by the team that would execute it.
