AI agents that do the work, and a record that proves how.
AIM is an IBM Silver Partner specializing in watsonx. We build agents on watsonx Orchestrate, govern them with watsonx.governance, and run them for you. Hybrid, on-premises or in the cloud, alongside the Microsoft stack you already have.

Orchestrate runs the agents. Governance keeps them accountable.
Most organizations can build a pilot agent. The hard part is running dozens of them across real systems, knowing what each one did, and showing a regulator or auditor the evidence. These two products split that job.
IBM watsonx Orchestrate
- Build and connect agentsCreate agents and tools, or connect agents already built elsewhere, through APIs and open standards including MCP and A2A.
- Ready-to-use domain agentsStarting points for customer service, HR, procurement and knowledge work.
- Workflows and documentsMulti-step workflows with document processing, decision tables and parallel steps.
- Agentic Control PlaneAnnounced by IBM in July 2026: dashboards, agent analytics, policy enforcement, a shared agent catalogue and scheduled runs.
IBM watsonx.governance
- Lifecycle governanceTrack models and AI use cases from request to retirement, with approvals at each stage.
- Risk managementIdentify, measure and monitor AI risk, including drift and quality issues, in production.
- Regulatory alignmentMap AI initiatives to frameworks such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001.
- Beyond IBM modelsIBM positions it to govern AI across environments, with integrations for AWS and Azure.
OSFI's Guideline E-23 on model risk management takes effect in May 2027 and explicitly covers AI and machine learning models. Banks, insurers and other federally regulated institutions running AI agents will need an inventory, risk ratings and ongoing monitoring. AIM scopes that work with watsonx.governance as the system of record.
Models and data underneath the agents
Orchestrate and governance sit on top. These products supply the models and the trusted data agents need, and AIM brings them in when a use case calls for it.
IBM watsonx.ai
Developer studio for building AI applications, with IBM Granite and other models, RAG development and model tuning, deployable across hybrid infrastructure.
IBM watsonx.data
Manage, prepare and integrate data from across your estate in any format, so agents answer from your records instead of guesses.
IBM watsonx.data intelligence
Discover, curate and govern data assets across on-premises and public, private or hybrid cloud.
We are a Microsoft partner too. Here is when we recommend watsonx.
AIM works both stacks, so the recommendation follows your constraints, not our quota. These are the situations where watsonx usually earns its place.
Data that cannot leave your environment
Orchestrate and the wider watsonx family can run on-premises or in a private cloud when residency or sovereignty rules out public SaaS.
Model choice without lock-in
watsonx.ai supports IBM Granite alongside other open models, so you can pick per workload.
One governance record across vendors
If your AI already spans Azure, AWS and in-house models, watsonx.governance can serve as the single inventory and evidence store.
Existing IBM investment
Organizations already on IBM software, mainframe or IBM Cloud get more from watsonx because the integration paths are shorter.
Advise, build, run. From first use case to an agent estate.

Starting fresh, or already running IBM
New to watsonx
For operations, finance, HR and IT leaders with a process they want agents to take on.
- Half-day working session on two or three candidate processes
- One agent built on your data as a proof of value
- Governance set up from the first agent, not added later
- Licensing and delivery plan from AIM
Existing IBM clients
For teams with IBM software or earlier Watson services who want a Canadian partner on the account.
- Review of current IBM entitlements and renewal timing
- Path from earlier Watson assistants and services to watsonx
- Governance inventory of the AI you already run
- Managed operations for agents your team has already built
Book an agent working session
Bring one process you would hand to an agent tomorrow if you trusted it. We will map it, show where governance applies, and tell you plainly whether watsonx is the right fit.
